	Presenting the truly unique and exciting work of Ron Vavra. Each ceramic sculpture is a one of a kind work created from stoneware clay which is fired twice before being painted in delicate pastel hues with acrylics.   Winner of numerous awards, Ron Vavra was chosen a 'Best of America Artist' in 2007, and in 2008 he was selected to participate in the United States Department of State 'Art in Embassies Program. This program places the work of recognized artists in U.S. Embassies world-wide.
“I am looking to create work that is elegant yet somewhat mysterious, voluptuous, flowing, yet balanced. My current work - a series called ’SeaShapes’ - is inspired by the oceans; their motion and mystery, what lives in them, their cycles and rhythms of living, dying and rebirth.”
