Ron Vavra, selected a Best of America artist, has won numerous awards and was chosen as an exhibitor in the United States Department of State, Art in Embassies Program.
His work in the various media of wood, glass and ceramics has been ground breaking and now copied by even the most prestigious and well known artists in those fields. It has been exhibited in galleries throughout the United States and is in collections here and in Europe.
Some of the most beautiful art lies hidden from us. It just needs to be uncovered. These works demonstrate that trees hold within them treasures that just need someone with a special sense, an eye for beauty and a trained hand to bring out that hidden beauty.
